This is a great experience to show and teach your British culture to international students. Students choose to stay in home stay as they would like to experience the British Culture and be part of a family environment.

They come to Bournemouth on programmes of 2,3 or 4 weeks at the time, where they attend English lessons+ activities and trips from Monday to Sunday. 

 

The room must have a proper bed, wardrobe and desk. Sometimes they have a day off on Saturdays with optional activities in town). 

 

Their daily schedule is 9am to 5.30pm. They then return home by public transport around 18:30

You must provide breakfast, pack lunch and dinner daily. You must also have a DBS to host under 18s. For adults is not necessary.

The rate varies on the type of students and their requirements as well as the time of the year. 

We will place students single, twin and triple depending on your house facilities.

It is important that you live within a maximum of 35-40 minutes by public transport and that you have availability to host students all year around.

To win the SUPER HOST STATUS you must comply with all the below requirements consistently:

 

•    Hospitality: Collect students on arrival and drop on departure, show them around your house on arrival, provide a clean room/bed, clutter free of your personal belongings, make them feel at home, ask them what their favourite foods are, provide substantial pack lunches, breakfast and dinners, spend time with your students in the evenings and talk to them about their day and life in the UK. etc.
 

•    Unique experiences: Make them feel part of your family, take them out with you, imagine what your child would feel like in a foreign family and how you would like them to be treated, etc.
 

•    Flexibility: Be flexible with our office staff and bookings, do not cancelled confirmed bookings, provide documentation promptly,  accommodate last minute changes (which are always outside of our control), etc.
 

•    Student feedback: We will ask students at the end of their stay how they felt and based on their feedback we will value your service.
 

•    Hosting all year around. Do your best to accept our booking throughout the year, this shows commitment and reliability to be able to offer you bookings all year around so you can secure extra income for your holidays or personal experiences with your families and friends.
