This exam preparation course is aimed at students who want to achieve an international B2 certificate by University of Cambridge English Assessment. All our Cambridge B2 First preparation courses offer a balanced combination of exam techniques and General English so that our learners obtain the level they need in order to succeed in the exam.

25 lessons per week (22.5 hours)

12-week programme (60 hours)

Why Cambridge B2 First?

Cambridge B2 First is accepted for entry to foundation/pathway/pre-sessional courses in English-speaking countries. On top of that, an international B2 qualification proves that you can:

  • communicate effectively face-to-face, expressing opinions and presenting arguments

  • follow the news

  • write clear, detailed English, expressing opinions and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different points of view

  • write letters, reports, stories and lots of other types of text.

Course Information

Course Objectives

To improve your level of General English and give you the test-taking strategies that you need to pass the Cambridge B2 exam. By the end of the course you should have the techniques you need to take the exam with confidence.

Minimum Level: CEFR B2 (Upper Intermediate)

Minimum Age: 16

Class Size: 3 - 16 students

When can I start my courses?

You can start your course any Monday as long as it is not a Bank Holiday here in England. If there is a Bank Holiday* on your first week, you will then start your course on a Tuesday. Our continuous assessment policy allows us to offer you a class that challenges your current English language proficiency 44 weeks a year. 

* Bank Holidays 2022 15 April (Good Friday), 18 April (Easter Monday), 02 May (Early Many bank holiday), 02 June (Spring bank holiday),  03 June (Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday), 29 August (Summer bank holiday).

**The school will be closed for the Christmas holidays from 17.12.2022  to 08.01.2023

Do I have the right level?

The first step is to do our online test. After that you will have a little chat with Tamara Leacy, our Director of Studies, and she will be able to tell you which of the levels above you should start from. If you are not ready yet, we will prepare a package for you to help you achieve the required level before you start your preparation course.
